Does Freon get used up?

No, Freon is circulated around your air conditioning system to cool your air and unless there is a leak, no Freon is lost in the process. However, you can start to run low on Freon due to a leak.

Here are some signs of a potential leak:

• Your air conditioner is running but it is blowing hot air.
• Water accumulation due to condensation.
• House takes forever to cool off.
• You see ic on the copper lines from your unit to the indoor coil
• High electric bills (because your air conditioner has to run longer to cool your home)
